ADAMA ensemble

The music of Itamar Erez & the Adama Ensemble is exploring the boundaries of contemporary Jazz, classical and world music, composition and improvisation.

Influenced by such musicians as Anouar Brahem, Egberto Gismonti and others, Itamar Erez & The Adama Ensemble is creating exciting and original material, rich with Middle-Eastern and Flamenco sounds, unusual melodies and complex rhythms.

The ensemble’s CD-‘Hommage’ came out in Oct 2010, and includes guest performances of Omar Faruk Tekbilek, the great world musician, and others.

The ensemble played at many prestigious venues including ‘International Red Sea Jazz Festival’ 2011.
